We made it back safely, although we arrived in Boston to cold and brisk winds and a very choppy approach and landing. Mommy felt sick while I giggled with every pocket of turbulent air. If only I could keep that attitude as I age, I am told. Daddy and Grandpa
IG returned safely as well, after their weekend of football, hockey, beer, and house hunting in Ann Arbor.
I, for one, had a great time in Minnesota. I finally had the chance to meet (and hang out with) Grandpa David. We visited a giant pumpkin patch and Menard's (the local hardware store that Daddy always pronounces wrong). I met my great-grandfathers Babe and
Marland, and was introduced to countless aunts, uncles and cousins. Great fun! We carved a pumpkin with my name on it (using a cordless drill -- how's that for
ingenuity!), re-learned how to feed from an
artificial nipple (I had given up on bottle feeding from Daddy before the trip), and talked with Uncle
BJ by
VOIP phone every day. He is having a blast in Denmark and about to go on "holiday" in Spain. Watch out for those bulls, Brandon. Here are a few pics from the extended weekend:

Hanging out with Grandpa

Grandma Sue's turn at dinner...

Showering up before the big trip...

Mommy and me at Logan International Airport for the first time ever!!

Who needs a travel companion when you're this
independent (excuse me, flight attendant, could you help me with that
seat belt?)!

Excited to meet my Minnesota Grandpa!!
Chillin' with the pumpkins (Go
Sox in 2007!)

It was so nice to see Grandma Jo again...

Four generations on Grandma Jo's side (meet my great-grandfather
Marland)!

Orange is back in style, says my great-grandfather Babe.

Excellent work with the carving, Grandpa David!

Last but not least, it was a true pleasure to finally meet Mommy's best friend, Aunt Sara. Can't wait to watch the "U" lose to the Wolverines in The Big House next year!
It was a completely
successful trip, by all accounts. There are TONS more pictures to see, so be sure to stop by the
Smugmug album,
Tyler's First Trip to check them out (and to see Daddy's pics from U Michigan!). Hugs and kisses to everybody.
XOXOXOXOXOXO.
