I was born on August 5th, 2006 at 2:10 AM at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center in Boston, MA. My parents, Jaime and Bryan, are VERY proud of me! We live as a family in Ann Arbor, MI, after recently moving from Boston, where I rule their lives -- even at my age...
A kind neighbor asked us, the other day, if she could take some nice photographs of us -- as a family. Since we haven't really had that opportunity for a while, we took advantage...on the spot. So please enjoy a few pictures of us from the other day in Burns Park, on a gorgeous Fall weekend morning.
Meanwhile, I have recently learned that in the late hours of the night of October 17th, I officially became an older cousin, and with that, I officially became President of the new Goldstein cousins club. So very cool. Welcome, Mr Jayden William Mack!! We cannot wait to visit in person. Meanwhile, a quick shout out to Grandpa David...can't wait to visit you in the cabin up North next summer! Love, TSG. XOXOXOXOXOXO.
I know I am off by almost a full seven days, but I had a busy week this past week, with both Mommy and Daddy being home all day, every day. It's a lot of work to keep them entertained, you know. Nevertheless, as you'll see below, we had a blast last weekend. We started off the day by going to the University of Michigan Marching Band (MMB) final rehearsal prior to the Michigan vs. Eastern Michigan football game on Saturday. Be sure to see the video to see just what that is all about! So much fun. And, I got to try my first donut from the local shop (the famous Washtenaw Dairy), while Mommy and Daddy had theirs' with fresh apple cider. The best part was, after a quick mid-day nap, we left again for the one mile walk to The Big House, where we watched the Wolverines beat the EMU Eagles. My first moment in the famous crowd of 115,571 people watching a college football game. Crazy. Sunday started as a work day, when I helped Daddy out around the yard by raking up leaves before our firewood was to arrive. The rake is a bit big for me, yet, but we have been looking for a more Tyler-sized device in the stores. Since no weekend day is complete without a bit of fun (Work Hard, Play Hard...), we then headed off with Priya (one of Daddy's pediatric cardiology colleagues) to Wasem Fruit Farm to pick apples and raspberries. And pick 'em we did...along with eating the good majority of apples that had already fallen! We even had a picnic at the farm for lunch...with many many bees visiting us! Since then, Mommy has been making apple pie, apple crisp, fresh apples, baked apples, sliced apples, apples and brie cheese, etc. We had much fun. Enjoy the photos!
Look forward to hearing from you soon. Miss you. Love, Tyler. XOXOXOXOXOXOXO.
I am trying to be better about getting pictures online, so here is a random group of photos from around the house and around the neighborhood. There should be many more pictures being added to Smugmug and to the blog in the next few days.
Daddy has been busy at work of late, so Mommy and I have been looking for adventurous things to do. Using the powers of the internet, Mommy found us a little animal-time, Midwest style! Check us out on the farm...
I had a blast, and did not even acquire any atypical animal poop based infectious diseases...good for me! We have had many other adventures over the past few weeks, including my first trip to "The Big House" for a Michigan football game as well as to a local fruit farm where we picked apples and raspberries. I will add more pictures to the blog soon. Love, TSG. XOXOXOXOXOXOXO.
