Work isn't all bad

Daddy has been very busy at work lately...but he said he did get to see (and touch) a very cool hockey trophy! That's no consolation for me, though, not getting to see him all that much lately. Kris Draper, one of the Detroit Red Wings, is in the picture with Daddy and his colleagues in the cardiac ICU.

A Classic Fall Day!

The Wolverine football team had the weekend off yesterday (thankfully...) and Daddy finally had a day off today, so we decided to make the most of it. Apple picking is one of our favorite Fall activities and with Rosh Hashanah coming up, we need lots of fruit! We made the annual 15 minute drive over to Wasem's (this being our second year) and headed out into the vast farm of apple trees. A full bushel of apples made their way back in the trunk of the Volvo, along with a gallon of cider and a very happy toddler. We'll be back in a few more weeks for our Pumpkin. Lazy Day Candids

Alright, so the lazy days of summer are essentially gone, the sun is going down earlier, and the nighttime temps have been easily getting into the 40's in A2. That said, the days are beautiful. Daddy has been busy of late, so my blog updates are few -- but that is his fault and not mine. Check out some recent pics to see me in action, including a picnic in the Arboretum, playtime with Charlotte, backyard fun, and lastly, me and my backpack on my first day of pre-school last week. So cool! I started going to the JCC twice a week and will go three days a week come January!

If blackberry picking wasn't enough...

...we decided to go pick some blueberries (Daddy's second favorite berry to go pick). We had fun, I again ate more than I saved to bring home (see the last picture), and my face was a bit darker at the end of the day than at the start. Check us out!
