Mr. Photogenic

If a picture tells a thousand words, then my first million-word novel is told below. The title, quite simply put: "Happiness."

Enjoy the holidays. Love you. Hello to Ansley. XOXOXOXOXO.

Come light the menorah...

I celebrated my first Goldstein/Wotiz family Hanukkah party last night and it was so much fun. Great uncle's Bob and Howie, Great-Grampa and Great-Gramma Wotiz, Grandpa and Grandma Irwin and Sue, Uncle AG and Mommy and Daddy and I lit the candles, ate traditional (and not-so-traditional) cuisine, and opened presents together on the third night! I was in a super mood, and had fun with everyone. It was made all the more exciting by the fact that it was Mommy's 30th Birthday yesterday and we celebrated that as well. I felt bad that she was stuck cooking much of the day, but she pulled of a fabulous party and everyone appreciated her efforts last night. Thank you, and happy birthday Mommy -- I can't wait for many, many more together as a family!! I even got kisses good night from everybody, at the end of the night, when I finally went to sleep at 8 PM. I have so many thanks-yous to give out for all of the many presents I received...I am so thankful for such an awesome family.

It was an awesome evening, and I will remember it forever (at least through Daddy's photos...). Can't wait for the next party and more gifts!! Oh wait...we get to celebrate with Grandpa and Grandma David and Jo in a week or so! Love to all. Happy Holidays. XOXOXOXOXO.

First Photo Shoot with Daddy's New Toy

Hangin' with Uncle AG

My uncle from Los Angeles came to visit me for a second time in four weeks. He looks similar to the last visit, but I have certainly changed since -- my teeth are in and I am happy for it. Uncle AG and I spent the morning feeding, playing, reading and talking. We had a blast! Here are a few pictures from the day:

My uncle may not know it, but he is one of the world's best burpers...and I truly appreciated that he came right over to play with me after a long overnight "quasi non-stop" red-eye flight from California. And stay tuned for a ton more photos from Hunakkah and my "photo shoot" with Daddy's new camera! Love you. XOXOXOXOXO.

Round Two

I went head-to-head with the second round of vaccinations at my fourth month pediatrician visit today, and I am still standing, although a bit bruised on the thighs and occasionally even tearful. Dr. Kara was awesome as always, telling Mommy and Daddy that they were doing a wonderful job -- and me that she had "zero concerns." So exciting.

Last week was a good one for me. I have now been sleeping through the night, from about 8 PM to 6:30-7:30 AM, each night without fail. My naps are a bit more "dynamic," shall we say, but even those have improved. My teeth don't hurt me anymore. And I finally have some new toys to play with -- including the ever-popular Exersaucer (which I am growing to love!). Can't wait for the upcoming holidays to see my extended family and get even more new stuff to play with. My plan to slowly (or not so slowly) push out all of Mommy and Daddy's stuff -- and replace it with my own -- seems to be working well. My parents' only request to the toy companies: Make this stuff a bit more fashionable and less bright!!

Check out some pictures from the week:

Why would I need help reading...I am four months now, you know!

But I do enjoy a good book with Mommy (look who is sitting, by the way!)

Meanwhile, Daddy teaches me how to watch television (and he calls himself a pediatrician?)...

...and play (I mean "work") on the computer...

That's all for now, friends. Love you. XOXOXOXOXO.
