How many pediatricians does it take to...

Jenga is clearly a very serious game. Yesterday, I had the opportunity to watch my first Jenga match. I was invited (with Mommy and Daddy) to a barbeque for all the senior residents of the BCRP (Boston Combined Residency in Pediatrics -- for those not in the know) at Dr. Vinci's house in West Roxbury. I ate (guess what?) breast milk, and slept, while all of the pediatricians ate steak, chicken, veggies and lots of rice crispy treats. It was fun for all until the Great Jenga Match of 2006 began. Let's just say that Street-Dog (never the toppler) has played this game before, mini-chief was sweatin' bullets, Garvey let everyone know when she was nervous and Schneids' ended up being the unfortunate soul to knock it all down. I had fun watching them play and trash talk for hours.

Meanwhile, in the morning before the barbeque, Mommy and Daddy and I went for a long walk in the rain to the post office. I got to try out my new all-weather storm cover for the stroller and wait in a long line at the post office in order to mail my birth announcements to Canada and Denamrk (yipeee!). We ate lunch at June Bug Cafe in Jamaica Plain on the way home.

Back to the barbeque. I had the chance to wear my first hoodie...

And I finally got to meet Cathy while I was awake!

But everything came back to Jenga before the night was over.

That's it for today. Lots of new pictures are going up in the album today. Hugs and Kisses. XOXOXOXOXO
