After waking late on Saturday (7:30 AM is late, mind you), we headed out to the strawberry fields of Rowe's Produce Farm in Ypsilanti (the town over from A2) to do some picking. They're pretty cool there, encouraging us to eat as many berries as wen wanted, while picking. Everything about the experience was free, except for the strawberries you choose to take home. Daddy evidently decided about 24 1/5 pounds was the right amount, which, at $1.43 per pound, didn't cost all that much. I spent the picking time getting to know about 50 of the little red goodies while Mommy watched me run up and down the rows and Daddy was squatting down
pickin'. We all have a new found respect for the migrant farm worker. In any case, the experience was great and we plan to repeat it with the other berry families as well as apples and sugar snap peas in the coming weeks and months. Enjoy!

Mmmmmmmm....Mommy is cooking up some great smelling strawberry pie - can't wait!! Miss you. Love,
TSG.
XOXOXOXOXOXOXO.
