I'll have much more to say about our week-and-a-half long trip to the Boston-area over the next few days, but for now, check out the first set of pictures on Smugmug! We had an incredible time, although we all returned a bit more exhausted than we left...

A beautiful day for a ballgame!
Despite some poor sleep for us of late (both Mommy and me) and Daddy having just completed a 28 hour shift at work (also without a lot of sleep) we made the bold (but probably silly) decision to go to the Tigers vs. Twins game at Comerica Park on Sunday afternoon. My first MLB game since a Sox game at Fenway on week 2 of life. We had a blast! We all ate a few Hebrew National dogs, rode on the Tiger carousel, watched some baseball, did the "wave," slurped down some frozen lemonade, and clapped for each batter. I can't wait to go back...

The 9 Day D.L.
Evidently, all that jumping can catch up with you. I went for the record long jump (from my favorite mall play structure) last Wednesday and have been a bit lame ever since. After Mommy and Daddy could no longer say "let's just wait another day, it'll probably get better" we finally went into the hospital to get some x-rays and see a pediatric ortho doctor. She asked what my favorite color was...and the rest if history. Now I am in a short leg cast until our trip to Boston -- we told the doctor that I wasn't willing to give up the beach that easily! So I'll have a cast until our trip and then put it back on upon our return to AA, if needed. We'll see if Mommy can handle me now....!

A series of July firsts...
Nothing special to report of late, although Mommy and Daddy have captured a few precious July "firsts." To begin with, while Mommy was folding laundry the other day, I found Daddy's pajamas (yep, the ones that he always goes to work in, especially on the weekends). I always wondered why he wears those things, so I went ahead and put the top on. Yes, you guessed it, that is the first time I have put a top on with no help with the arms! Cool. I followed this up by eating one of the famous Goldstein Hobo sandwiches, substituting honey maple turkey for salami, of course. I now love runny yellows (eggs)...who would of thought! Of course, in true Goldstein style, I finished up the meal by grabbing a book out of the playroom and reading it on the potty. Not that I did anything on the potty, but the whole book reading thing is sort of classic...

Happy Independence Day!
Our July 4th holiday was busy. The holiday actually started off on the 3rd, with Mommy and Daddy attending a July 4th Seder (interesting, but don't ask me about it) in town. I got to hang out with Olivia which was great, as it always is. I don't want her to go to college. We woke up early on the 4th and got a head start on the morning Ann Arbor parade. This, too, was awesome. Bella and I went (along with Mommy, Daddy and Caro) and we got to see horses, bicycles, unicycles, shopping carts, police cars, fire trucks, Model T Fords, and many politicians waving. Everyone threw out candy to the kids and Washtenaw Dairy (the best ice cream in town) even passed out red, white and blue Popsicles to all the kids. When the parade came to an end, we dashed back to Burns' Park, just in time to catch the annual (but minimally publicized and certainly not permitted) Burns' park July 4th parade which involves kids of all ages walking around the park with some old guy driving in front -- honking at all the other cars on the street so they turn around and make room for us -- and ends up in the park for watermelon. So neat. I then took a much deserved nap before heading out the a BBQ at one of Daddy's work friend's house. Check out the parade pictures (sorry I put so many up!).
