Our July 4th holiday was busy. The holiday actually started off on the 3rd, with Mommy and Daddy attending a July 4th Seder (interesting, but don't ask me about it) in town. I got to hang out with Olivia which was great, as it always is. I don't want her to go to college. We woke up early on the 4th and got a head start on the morning Ann Arbor parade. This, too, was awesome. Bella and I went (along with Mommy, Daddy and Caro) and we got to see horses, bicycles, unicycles, shopping carts, police cars, fire trucks, Model T Fords, and many politicians waving. Everyone threw out candy to the kids and Washtenaw Dairy (the best ice cream in town) even passed out red, white and blue Popsicles to all the kids. When the parade came to an end, we dashed back to Burns' Park, just in time to catch the annual (but minimally publicized and certainly not permitted) Burns' park July 4th parade which involves kids of all ages walking around the park with some old guy driving in front -- honking at all the other cars on the street so they turn around and make room for us -- and ends up in the park for watermelon. So neat. I then took a much deserved nap before heading out the a BBQ at one of Daddy's work friend's house. Check out the parade pictures (sorry I put so many up!).

Love you muchly. TSG. XOXOXOXOXOXOXO.
