Today was a busy day. We got up and had blueberry pancakes (made by Mommy), bought food for the world's largest picnic (for four adults and two kids, but man was there a lot of food!), and then proceeded to procrastinate about when to actually leave the house to eat the food at the picnic. We eventually did leave, and had a wonderful walk around Jamaica Pond, settling on a beautiful spot for a picnic in the shade of a giant oak tree, on the lawn overlooking the pond. Mommy and Daddy and Freddy and Isabelle and Rosie ate and ate and ate, and the ran around some. I saw a few of Daddy's resident friends from the
BCRP program while we were there.

My first picnic (you'd think I might want to open my eyes)!

Look at how happy Mommy is...

Rosie
checkin' out the park and pond area...

And taking off down the hill herself!

Agile Freddy caught up with Rosie pretty quickly, though!

And they had a
bite to eat together...

Daddy and I had some quality time together, too.

We then returned home, fueled up on more breast milk (sorry for not giving you that nap you wanted, Mommy), and watched
a bit of the US Open. Go Andy and James!! Then, we were off to dinner at the
Village Smokehouse, a wonderful little BBQ joint in
Brookline. Mommy and Daddy had their favorite
barbeque dishes and loved every minute of it. We were quite full, but still managed to get some
ice cream at JP Licks afterwards.

All in all, it was a great (and busy) day! Now it's time for some rest before we are off to
Wingaersheek and the beach tomorrow. To see the rest of the pictures from the
Fafard's visit so far, check out
this Smugmug album!
For those who are still wondering, the title of this post refers to the slogan on a window (and replicated on the back of the waitstaff T-Shirts) at The Village Smokehouse. Hugs and kisses, everybody.
XOXOXOXOXO.
