New Years and Smiles

Wow! Just five months (almost) so far and I have already lived in two years. Happy 2007 and I will miss 2006. We spent the new years up in Wingaersheek with Grandpa Irwin and Grandma Sue, where we ate well (Daddy and Grandpa cooked a five-course meal as always!), walked on the beach, napped, and even watched a bit of football (in between Lifetime movies). All in all, my parents say that little changed from years past -- before I was around -- except that things were funnier and better because of me. I think that is a grammatically correct sentence. Mommy even had a real alcoholic drink (her second since learning that I was inside of her, I think) which I think made her funnier. It definitely made the breast milk taste better.

We celebrated like mad on New Year's eve and then fell asleep when the "ball junior" fell at exactly 8:00 PM EST. I even got to go to sleep hearing my usual bed time songs and stories, although I slept in the mostlyfinished downstairs bathroom with a space heater. I won't tell DSS if you don't. After it was all over, we returned home and spent the last few days watching football and doing some post-holiday sales shopping. Here are the photos (and if you haven't seen them, be sure to look below as there were four new blog entries yesterday!) and enjoy:

It took them twenty years to build, but having a real fireplace in Wingaersheek is worth it!

Who loves me more? NOBODY!

Grandma: Although I appreciate you reading to me, and do enjoy it, could we pick a book that I haven't heard thirty times before, please?

Mommy took this picture after her champagne, I think.

Cool. The view is nice from up here, although I think Grandpa is going bald!

I have an itch on my nose, can you scratch it?

I love Grandpa.

I can almost sit upright...

It is funny how my favorite toy is the 30 cent rattle from CVS!

"Mr. Photogenic", or Love at First Sight.

Ditto.

Mommy is thinking: "I miss champagne."

Mommy is thinking: "I miss champagne."

All smiles.

Kickball junior.

Happy New Years!

I hope you had a nice New Years celebration, whether it was in California, Minnesota, London or wherever. Daddy is in the midst of a massive SmugMug update, so be sure to check out the galleries in the next day or so. Again, be sure to peruse the updates and photos from the last week or two below -- they have some awesome pictures! Love you. TSG. XOXOXOXOXOXO.
