Record Highs in Beantown

The last couple of days in Boston have been September-like, with highs reaching into the upper-sixties with ease, setting record high temperature marks on Friday and Saturday. And folks have noticed. The streets and parks and pond have been teeming with folks trying to extend Summer (let alone Fall) into early January -- and they have been doing it in T-shirts and short-sleeve Polo's. Amazing.

We have been on a daily schedule, as far as the trips to the Pond have been concerned, and yesterday were even rebuffed from our attempt at grabbing a cold snack at JP Licks as the line went out the door and down the street! In any case, we had a picnic blanket, so we just hung out by the water on the pond...
